Ingredients for the seltzer cake
You need: 3 cups of flour, 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of sunflower oil, 1 cup of soft drink, 4 eggs, 2 packets of vanilla sugar, 1 packet of baking powder, 250 grams of powdered sugar, 4 tablespoons of water

This is how the seltzer cake is made
This is how it is done: Preparing the 7 cup cake couldn’t be easier. Grab a cup of your choice. Tip: About 300 milliliters is perfect, but something bigger or smaller is also not a problem. Prepare a large bowl and let’s get started.
Add three cups of flour, two cups of sugar, and one cup each of baking soda and oil to the bowl, one at a time. Note: Measure the dry ones first so they don’t stick to the cup later. Add eggs, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Mix everything to a smooth batter with a hand mixer. Mixing may take several minutes.
Line a deep baking tray with baking paper or grease well. Pour the batter into the baking tray and into the unheated oven. Set the temperature to 200 degrees (top and bottom heat) and bake the mug cake in the oven for 45 minutes.

Chopstick test: Take a wooden toothpick and insert it into the center of the cake. If no dough sticks after pulling it out, the cake is done. Otherwise, continue to bake for 5 to 10 minutes.
Take the cupcake out of the oven and let it cool. Meanwhile mix in the icing. To do this, mix the powdered sugar with water. Spread frosting over cake and refrigerate 7-cup cake until frosting is set. Enjoy your meal!

Variants of the seltzer cake
There are numerous ways to customize the 7-cup cake. A different cake ends up on the table every week, with the basic recipe remaining the same.
