Sinh To Bo is not necessarily a light drink. When we think of a smoothie, we mean a creamy drink, if at all. However, the Vietnamese avocado smoothie is an extremely thick drink, which is also incredibly creamy. Indulge yourself with the rich avocado taste, paired with a slight sweetness thanks to the condensed milk – the creamiest smoothie you’ve ever had is ready.
Sin To stands for smoothies or milkshakes in Vietnamese. So rather thicker drinks that are not lemonades and contain some form of milk. above (pronounced like “beaux”) stands for avocado. Turn Sinh To Bo into Sinh To Xoai simply by using mango instead of avocado. Also works with dragon fruit, durian and other fruits.
As if avocado wasn’t creamy enough, we add thick condensed milk, which sweetens the smoothie slightly thanks to the sugar content. Sweetened condensed milk is not only important for Sinh To Bo – the famous Vietnamese iced coffee Ca phe sua da or the special Egg Coffee also makes use of it.
As I mentioned earlier, the avocado smoothie is not necessarily the lightest drink. Smoothies in general are considered a small meal for me – also for breakfast. The following smoothies are also ideal as the first meal of the day or just in between:
