Do you like tacos and you love pizza? Then you should listen up: Our taco pizza combines Italian and Mexican cuisine. Sound exciting? Stay tuned and find out how it’s done!
Ingredients for 2 servings:
1/4 cube of yeast
115 grams of flour
olive oil
salt and pepper
1 small onion
1/2 can golden corn Texas mix
120 g minced meat
125 g tomato passata
some chili powder
some taco seasoning (optional)
100 grams of grated cheese
1 spring onion
2 teaspoons of sour single cream
Preparation time:
about 20 minutes (plus 15 minutes baking time and 30 minutes rising time)
And this is how it is done:
In the first step, dissolve the yeast in about 35 ml of lukewarm water. Place the flour in a bowl and stir in the yeast mixture. Mix everything well and leave rice covered for about 15 minutes. Add a splash of oil and salt and leave to rise for another 15 minutes.
Now preheat the oven to 200 degrees circulating air. Peel the onion and cut into fine rings and drain the can with the corn and beans and drain well.
Heat the oil in a pan and brown the beef well. Deglaze with the tomato passata and season with salt, pepper, chili powder and the taco seasoning. Simmer it over low heat for about ten minutes.
Knead the dough well again and roll it out on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top and top with onions, corn and beans. Sprinkle the cheese over and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cut the spring onions into fine rings and spread them over the pizza when the baking time is over. Put the sour cream on the pizza and enjoy hot. Enjoy your meal!
Our taco pizza looks so good and smells so good. A little tip: You can of course also top the dough with other ingredients of your choice. Jalapeños or crumbled tortilla chips also taste amazing on your taco pizza!
